By using VetGuide ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE VA

VetGuide is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the U.S. Government, or any state or local government agency. References to the VA, state VA offices, and Veteran benefits are based on publicly available information.

3. NOT MEDICAL, LEGAL, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE

The information provided in VetGuide is for general informational purposes only. It is not, and should not be treated as, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any form of professional advice.

State benefit information may be out of date. Always verify with your state Veterans Affairs office.
Federal benefit information should be verified with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Tax-related information should be reviewed with a qualified tax professional.

The App connects to third-party websites and services, including the Veterans Crisis Line, VA Augusta's Microsoft Copilot Studio chatbot, and various state Veterans Affairs websites. We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices.

5. PERMITTED USE

You may use VetGuide for personal, non-commercial purposes to:

Find information about VA medical centers and Veteran resources.
Learn about state Veteran benefits.
Access publicly available crisis support resources.

6. PROHIBITED USE

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Misrepresent VetGuide as an official VA application or resource.
Submit false or misleading information through the App's chat features.

7. NO WARRANTY

VETGUIDE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF INFORMATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
